Work Jams TAG

Thu Nov 20, 2008, 1:29 PM
I just got fucking TAGGED, SON, by the one man whose ass I ever grabbed (it was an ACCIDENT) :iconskydisaster: .

Apparently it's a "Work Jam" game o' tag. If you are tagged you have to list at least ten songs or albums that you jam to when working. If you want to spend the time, drop a link to a video of the song or what have you. Show us what makes your creative juices flow.

After you list your songs you have to tag at least 5 other artist peoples. Go to their main page and tag them. You've been bothered, so why not bother someone else. Pay it forward! Like that movie! Remember? Oh wow. "Pay it Forward." wooow. j/k. haven't seen it. Probably never going to see it. Tangent!

This 'ere be my list:

#. "song" or album - artist

01. Rushmore OMPST - Various Artists
02. Final Fantasy Tactics OST - Hitoshi Sakimoto
03. Songs Not To Get Married To - Reggie and the Full Effect
04. Dawn of Victory - Rhapsody (now Rhapsody of Fire)
05. In Rainbows - Radiohead
06. Eye Spy: Ears Only: Confidential (Aeon Flux OST) - Drew Neumann
07. Strategic Grill Locations - Mitch Hedberg
08. "Rumbrave" - Murder By Death
09. "Orion" - Rodrigo Y Gabriela
10. "Day of The Baphomets" - The Mars Volta

There. Done.

Now it's these other poor shmucks turn...

love me some hedberg. SGL is probably my favorite of the three albums he has for a couple reasons: 1) The bass playing in the background suits his style of comedy perfectly, and 2) The rawness of it all. He's not as cocky (for lack of a better term) as he is on Mitch All Together, coming off more unpolished, nervous and giddy to be on stage (and moderately toasted imo), whereas on his albums afterwards he's more comfortable onstage and more confident with his material and the audience; which is totally cool.

SGL is just a unique comedy album. between the bass accompaniment and the perceived unpreparedness of Mitch, coupled with the fact that he remains extremely funny in spite of it all. It's just a great album. (That and Mitch gets creative juices flowing with all his wordplay, surrealism, and take on observational humor).

Anywho, I'm just gushing now. Sorry to subject you to all that!
